Welcome to the 29th Annual Meeting of the European Bone and Joint Infection Society (EBJIS). It is with great pleasure that we invite you to this years session to be held at the Congress Hall in Heidelberg. The harmony of the romantic city, the beautiful castle, one of the oldest universities and the river Neckar still fascinates people all over the world.
In this overwhelming setting we plan a very interesting conference about septic problems in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. The EBJIS is the largest society in Europe in the field of musculoskeletal infections. A multidisciplinary approach to the problem of infection is guaranteed by Orthopaedic Surgeons, Traumatologists, Microbiologists, Infectiologists and Molecular Biologists. Experts from all Europe, from overseas countries and from the United States will share their clinical and scientific knowledge and experience. Please participate in the most active form at this meeting.
